Privacy Policy

Steve's Diesel understands the importance of maintaining our customers privacy online. In a time of spam e-mail, and credit card fraud we understand our customers have the right to know how personal information is handled.

What information does Steve's Diesel need from me?

When placing an order on this or any other site certain information is needed to processes the order. Your name and billing address associated with the credit card you are using, your credit card information, e-mail address and shipping address.

Why do you need more then one address from me?

I most cases Steve's Diesel only needs one address, as long as your product is shipping to the same location as your billing information. In order to eliminate credit card fraud your billing information must match the credit card you provide. Steve’s Diesel will ship to any location within Canada and the continental U.S. If you are outside Canada or the USA please contact us and we will take your order and give you a accurate shipping quote. Your shipping information does not need to match the billing information.

What happens to my information when I send it?

The information you provided us is used only to complete your order. Your credit card is processed, the billing address you provided is then matched to protect against fraud. Only your shipping address and product information goes to our shipping department, all billing and credit card information is keep with the original invoice in our files.

Will my e-mail address be given out?

Steve's Diesel does not sell, or give out any personal information including your e-mail address to any third-parties. The information you provide to us, stays with us. Steve's Diesel will send out news letters on occasion, we will use your e-mail address to keep you informed on new products and specials. If you do not wish to receive our news letter please let us know upon ordering and your e-mail will not be stored in our database.

Is it safe to type in my credit card information?

Yes. Steve’s Diesel uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology to encrypt your information. When you click on the Check Out button you will notice the browser change from http:// to https://. Depending on your browser you may also have a box appear stating you are about to view information over a secure connection.

When using this website, you are subject to the terms in this privacy policy. We will keep your information confidential and secure. Please e-mail us with any questions or comments about this policy.


Shipping Policy

When will my product be shipped out?

Most products ordered will ship within 1-2 business days, some exceptions may include back ordered and/or direct ship items but you will be notified if there will be any delays.

How long will it take to receive my product?

If the product is in stock most orders are received within 3-6 business days depending on your location. Non-stock, special order and out of stock items may take 1-2 weeks to be received.


Warranty

Steve's Diesel will be more than happy to work with you on all warranty issues. In some cases warranty issues will be handled directly through the manufacture. Each situation will vary please call us with your specific problem. All warranty issues after 30 day of original purchase will NOT be taken back for full credit.


Return Policy

You must call for an RMA# before making any return!

-All returns made to Steve's Diesel must be in original box with all parts included.

-All returns must be sent with a copy of the original receipt, explanation of the problem and Return Number.

- All returns for full credit must be received by Steve's Diesel within 30 days of the product being received by the customer.

- Customer is 100% responsible for all shipping costs on returned merchandise.

- Credit will be issued after the product and its contents are inspected and found to be in brand new condition as shipped to the buyer.

- Some products may carry a restocking fee of 5%-20% on returns, this includes but is not limited to special order, direct shipment and/or the manufactures return policy. Steve's Diesel reserves the right to charge a restocking fee on any product being returned, please email us to find out if your order falls in to this category.

Some Circumstances in which full credit will not be issued but not limited to:

- Product has been installed and/or used

- Product has been damaged from an attempt to be installed and/or used

- Product is shipped back with out original box, manual and/or parts

- Seal on electrical parts is broken

-Product serial number does not match that of which was original shipped to buyer

-Product is deemed not resell able by Steve's Diesel due to customers own actions in dealing with the product

Q: What do I do if my product falls into the category above but I still want to return it?A: Call (905) 623 1411 and ask to speak to someone regarding an online product return.

We believe all prices and information on our website to be accurate. Prices and information on the website can change with out notice. Steve's Diesel reserves the right to completely refund your money in the event of a misprinted price. Steve's Diesel holds no responsibility for any damages incurred from the products we sell. Any warranties offered on the products are through the manufacture, and not through Steve's Diesel unless specified differently.
